Colorado Rockies Extend Win Streak to Four Games

The Colorado Rockies extended their winning streak to four games with an 8-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night at Coors Field. C.J. Cron hit a two-run homer in the first inning to give the Rockies an early lead, and Ryan McMahon added a solo shot in the third.

The Rockies' bullpen was solid, with Ashton Goudeau, Justin Lawrence and Daniel Bard combining to allow just one run on four hits over the final four innings.

The Diamondbacks have now lost four straight games and are 11-17 in their last 28 games.

Rockies' Offense Continues to Roll

The Rockies' offense has been clicking in recent games, and they continued to produce on Tuesday night.

Cron's homer was his 25th of the season, and McMahon's was his 20th.

Bard then pitched a perfect eighth inning, and Carlos Estévez worked a scoreless ninth to close out the game.

Diamondbacks' Offense Struggles

The Diamondbacks' offense has struggled in recent games, and they were unable to get much going on Tuesday night.

The Diamondbacks only had four hits in the game, and they were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position.

Ketel Marte was the only Diamondbacks player to have a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a double.
